On arrival, meet by our guide and transfer to hotel. The rest of day is at leisure. |
Day 2: Tiananmen Square Forbidden City Temple of Heaven Beijing Roast Duck Beijing Opera |
Pick up from your hotel at 08:30 am. Visit the Tiananmen Square. Then move on to the Forbidden City. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven. Visit the number one Pearl Center of Beijing for shopping. You will be treated to a delicious Beijing roasted duck dinner. Your cultural show tonight will the national opera-Beijing Opera or Acrobatic Show. (B+L+D) |
Day 3: Badaling Great Wall Summer Palace |
Morning tour features the Badaling Great Wall- the landmark of China. On the way, visit the jade factory where you can buy some best local folk arts and crafts. After Chinese style lunch, drive to Summer Palace, the largest imperial garden of the world. Enjoy Chinese tea ceremony before drive back to your hotel. |
Day 4: Beijing Q Lhasa |
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to airport to connect the morning flight for Lhasa. Arrive in Lhasa in the afternoon, meet our local guide and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free to acclimatize to high altitude. (B) |
Day 5: Potala Palace Jokhang Monastery Tibet Museum Barkhor Street |
Pick up from your hotel about 09:00am. Morning tour will be the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. After Chinese style lunch, visit the Jokhang Monastery and the Tibet Museum. (B+L) |
Day 6: Norbu Lingka Drepung Monastery |
Morning tour will be the Norbu Lingka, built in 1751 as the summer residence of the Dalai Lama. After Chinese style lunch, visit the Drepung Monastery. This monastery was once the largest in Tibet. Built in 15 century, it is now home to some 700 monks (B+L) |
Day 7: Lhasa Q Xian |
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and take a two-hour flight to Xian. On arrival you will be met by our guide and transfer to hotel. Explore the city on your own. (B) |
Day 8: Terracotta Warriors Shaanxi Museum Big Wild Goose Pagoda |
Our sightseeing today features the Terracotta warriors and Shaanxi Museum. Tour will finish with the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Built in AD 648 by Tang Dynasty emperor Gaozong, the temple is an act of filial piety to honor his mother. (B+L) |
Day 9: Xian Q Guilin Reed Flute Cave Elephant Trunk Hill |
Transfer to airport to connect the flight for Guilin. Meet our guide and visit the dramatic karts formations at Reed Flute Cave. Then move to the Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin. Transfer to hotel after dinner. (B+D) |
Day 10: Li River Cruise Yangshuo |
Enjoy a downstream cruise on the Li River which moves gently between Guilin's lovely peaks, stopping at the village of Yangshuo. Yangshuo has been one of China's best antiques and crafts markets. This evening you can join an optional river boat excursion to watch the cormorant fishing. (B+L) |
Day 11: Bicycle Tour Farmer's House Yangshuo ~ Guilin |
Morning tour features the beautiful local countryside around Yangshuo with a bicycle tour to a former village landlord's house. Enjoy your lunch in a local farmer's house. Pick up from your hotel in the afternoon and drive back to Guilin. (B+L) |
Day 12: Guilin Q Chongqing Panda Zoo Stilwell Museum |
Pick up from your hotel and take morning flight for Chongqing. On arrival in Chongqing, you will be met by our guide. Visit the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and the Stilwell Museum if time permits. After typical Chinese dinner, board the deluxe cruise ship at 21:00 and start our memorable Yangtze River tour. (B+D) |
Day 13: Yangtze River Cruise Fengdu Ghost City |
Disembark at Fengdu, the "Ghost City" for an excursion. Enjoy the Captain's Welcome Party presents Chinese folk dancing and music performance after dinner. ( B+L+D ) |
Day 14: Yangtze River Cruise Qutang Gorge to Danning River Small Gorges or Shennong Stream/ Wu Gorge/Xiling Gorge |
Sail through the Qutang Gorge, the shortest and the grandest of the 3 Gorges. Followed by the Wu Gorge with its famous lofty and misty peaks. Disembark at Badong and visit the Shennong Stream. Take a boat ride drifting along the crystal stream. Then sail into the western section of Xiling Gorge. Stay overnight at Sandouping which is adjacent to the Three Gorges Dam. ( B+L+D ) |
Day 15: Three Gorge Dam Yichang Q Shanghai |
At San Dou Ping, see the progress at the historic Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric project. Sail on to Yichang. Met by the local guide and transferred to airport for Shanghai. Upon arrival you will be met by our guide and transferred to hotel. (B) |
Day 16: Jade Buddha Temple Yuyuan Garden The Bund Old French Concession Area The People's Square Acrobatic Show |
Pick up from your hotel at 0830, Your sightseeing this morning is the Jade Buddha Temple and Yu Yuan Garden. After lunch, tour the Bund, Old French Concession Area, the White House and Pudong New Shanghai-The People's Square. Enjoy Acrobtic Show after dinner and transfer back to your hotel. (B+L+D) |
Day 17: Shanghai ~ Suzhou ~ Shanghai Humble Administrator's Garden Boat Ride on Grand Canal Pan Gate |
Take 2 hours drive for Suzhou. Visit the Humble Administrator's Garden, the largest of the Suzhou's gardens. Then visit the Pan Gate, the only remaining city gate. After lunch, take a boat ride on the Grand Canal. Built in Tang Dynasty, the Grand Canal is the longest canal in the world. Tour will finish with the Suzhou Silk Museum or factory. Drive back to hotel in Shanghai. (B+L) |

Transfer to the airport for departure or free activity on your own. End of tour. (B) |
